Francis Hally practises in the area of tax law. On behalf of taxpayer clients, he accompanies and advises them as well as negotiates with tax authorities on behalf of taxpayer clients, from the stage of a tax audit to the notice of objection. He represents taxpayers who must assert their rights before the courts, particularly when appealing their tax assessment or audit. He also advises all professionals faced with the enforcement of existing Canadian tax law and regulations.
Throughout his practice, Francis acquired an extensive knowledge regarding the Quebec refundable tax credits to businesses. He also has experience in preparing and presenting taxpayers’ files who voluntarily disclose information before the tax authorities.
After completing the Barreau du Québec, he acted as consultant for the Direction générale des entreprises de l’Agence du revenu du Québec.
