MARCOUX, PIERRE

About

Pierre Marcoux is a member of the firm’s Board of Directors. Although his practice is focused on corporate reorganizations, tax and estate planning as well as acquisition and sale of companies, he also acts on behalf of taxpayers before the tax authorities and actively participates in the negotiation and preparation of various commercial agreements.

Pierre Marcoux has a vast experience in matters of inheritance and succession planning of family businesses.  His clientèle mainly consists of small and medium-sized businesses, including a number of pharmacy owners.

Having been a lecturer for three years at the Université du Québec, he has addressed various business groups and organizations, including the Association de planification fiscale et financière, on specific topics. He has also published numerous articles pertaining to tax law and co-authored three editions of a book entitled «Les pensions alimentaires : implications fiscales, tableaux des effets financiers» (Éditions Yvon Blais).
