About

Since being admitted to the Bar, Mélanie Thuot advises and represents businesses in the areas of transactional, commercial and corporate law, with a focus on sale and acquisition transactions and business start-ups.  She is called upon to act in commercial negotiation matters and to draft commercial contracts, including shareholder and partnership agreements.  Mélanie has experience in security law, having represented companies listed on the TSX with regard to their ongoing continuous disclosure obligations.

Mélanie lived in Japan for two years, where she taught English as a second language to adults.

• Member of the Event-Organizing Committee of the Fondation de l’Institut de réadaptation Gingras-Lindsay de Montréal.
• Member of the Association du jeune Barreau du Montréal (AJBM)
