About
Ibrahim Ahmed joined Morency in 2022 as an associate after completing his summer student and articling with the firm. He focuses his practice on school and health law, class actions and civil litigation.
He is involved in complex class actions and injunctions, while representing clients before the courts in civil litigation. Fluently bilingual, he advises public institutions in the education and health sectors on issues relating to public contracts, access to information and human rights and freedoms.
During his law studies, Ibrahim won the Pierre-Basile Mignault Moot Court Competition (2021) with his team, under the supervision of Me Jonathan D. Mallette. This experience enabled him to develop an expertise that he puts to good use in cases before the Quebec Court of Appeal, where he drafts motions for leave to appeal and appeal factums.
