About
Ibrahim Ahmed joined Morency in 2022 as a lawyer after having completed his summer associate experience as well as his Quebec Bar articling. His practice principally centers around education law, class actions, civil and commercial litigation, and health law.
During law school, Ibrahim and his team won the Pierre-Basile Mignault moot appellate competition (2021). This enriching experience allows Ibrahim to participate in appellate cases presented before the Quebec Court of Appeals, where he is called upon to draft applications for leave to appeal as well as appellate briefs.
He is also called upon to draft procedures in the context of class action litigation and to plead before various instances of Quebec courts in the context of civil litigation.
Being perfectly bilingual, Ibrahim accompanies public bodies such as educational institutions in the context of public calls to tender, access to information requests and human rights.
