For the past 20 years, Philippe Asselin has worked in all areas of municipal law, including urban planning, contracts, access to information, expropriation, construction and municipal ethics. It is regularly consulted on issues of daily concern to municipal administrators and elected officials.
From November 2023 to March 2025, Philippe served as an administrative judge and member of the Commission municipale du Québec. This experience enriched his expertise and strengthened his understanding of municipal management issues.

Frequently called upon to defend the interests of his clients, he pleads regularly before various judicial and administrative bodies.
Thanks to his dynamism and practical experience, Philippe is a much-appreciated trainer and lecturer for his clients and various municipal associations. Philippe also writes regular columns and articles for various specialized publications, and has done so for several years.
