About

Charles Lavoie joined Morency in 2022 as a legal assistant while still a student. Following his professional training internship with our firm in 2025, he joined the public and administrative law team as a lawyer, focusing primarily on municipal law.

As part of his practice, he is regularly called upon to advise and assist municipalities in various areas, including urban planning, the environment, expropriation, occupational health and safety, and intermunicipal agreements. To this end, he is called upon to provide legal opinions, draft transactions and regulations, and make representations before administrative and judicial tribunals.

At the same time, Charles is actively involved in motorsports. An official at karting and road racing competitions, he is responsible for the false grid committee at the Grand Prix de Trois-Rivières and serves as pit lane steward at the Canadian Grand Prix. He also sits on the board of directors of Auto Sport Québec, a leading organization in the field.
