About
Lauréane Roy joined Morency's team as a lawyer in 2025, after completing a summer student internship and her professional training internship. She practices in the areas of litigation and public law. As part of her practice, Lauréane is called upon to conduct legal research, draft legal opinions and various procedural documents, and make representations before the courts.
While attending law school, Lauréane completed a master's degree in law at the University of Montreal. Her thesis, which addressed the issue of access to medical assistance in dying for individuals diagnosed with mental disorders and for minors, received an exceptional mention in 2025. In addition to her legal career, Lauréane has also been involved in figure skating as a coach since 2017.
