About
Carolane Pétrin joined our firm as an associate in 2020, after completing her articling period. With solid expertise acquired in labor law and more recently in municipal law, she offers her clients comprehensive and personalized legal support, both in terms of advice and representation.
Carolane mainly represents cities and municipalities, while offering her services to a varied clientele, including public bodies and private companies. She works on a wide range of files, covering municipal law issues such as regulations, urban planning and municipal governance. She also handles complex labour law issues, including grievances, civil remedies, human rights, allegations of discrimination, harassment remedies and labour standards and employment injury litigation. She also advises and represents employers in criminal law, mainly in the context of complaints under the Act respecting occupational health and safety.
Carolane is distinguished by her strategic approach and business acumen, which enable her to understand not only legal issues, but also the operational realities of the organizations she assists. Her work is based on a constant balance between legal rigor and pragmatism, in order to provide concrete, effective solutions that deliver real added value.
