Areas of expertise

Frédéric Vachon is a member of our corporate and transactional law team. He joined the firm after working in a Montreal business law firm.

Frédéric's practice focuses primarily on business purchase and sale transactions, venture capital financing (equity and/or debt), business start-ups and commercial agreements of all kinds, including letters of intent, offers to purchase, buy-sell agreements, loan agreements, shareholder agreements, confidentiality agreements and commercial leases.

In addition to his legal training at the University of Ottawa, Frédéric completed a Bachelor of Commerce degree at the John Molson School of Business as well as a commercial law degree at the London School of Economics and Political Science, which gives him a global understanding and expertise in dealing with his clients' issues. His ability to popularize complex issues and to understand the reality of entrepreneurs serves him in his role as a lawyer, but also as a business advisor.
