About
Luc Paradis is specialized in the areas of commercial, corporate and bankruptcy law. His areas of practice include business financing, mergers, acquisitions and franchising. He has acquired great experience in venture capital matters, having represented Fondaction, le Fonds de développement de la Confédération des syndicats nationaux pour la coopération et l’emploi, at the provincial level for 12 years.
In collection and commercial restructuring, he has had the opportunity to complete several corporate restructurings, takeovers in situations of default and legal proceedings to recover loans within the context of venture capital investments. Luc Paradis frequently acts on behalf of trustees in bankruptcy in matters of debt recovery, representations before the courts, business restructuring in accordance with the Companies’ Creditors Arrangement Act (C-36) or further to the filing of a Notice of Intent in accordance with the Bankruptcy and Insolvency Act.
