About
Diane Bellavance, a retired lawyer, joined Morency lawyers in 2008, where she quickly distinguished herself through her specialization in business law and intellectual property, particularly information technology law. She practiced for over 30 years as a trademark agent and Licensing Professional internationally.
Diane Bellavance helped create CEIM, a start-up business incubator and accelerator. She also participated in the establishment of RCTi (a non-profit organization dedicated to innovation in Quebec SMEs), now known as ADRIQ. She has coached several start-ups and regularly gives lectures on law. She continues to play a supporting role with the Morency teams.
Social and Professionnal activities
- Owner of a ladies’ clothing manufacturing company between 1991 and 1995.
- Member of advisory committees and very active with non-profit organizations, both as an attorney and director.
