About
Sophie joined the Morency team in 2022 as a summer student. Following her articling period with our firm in 2023, she joined the municipal law team.
As part of her practice, she is regularly called upon to advise municipalities on various aspects of their day-to-day operations, including calls for tenders, urban planning, the environment and access to information. She also provides legal opinions, drafts by-laws and represents clients before the courts.
During her university studies, Sophie interned with a judge of the Court of Québec. She was also involved with the Bureau d'information juridique and took part in a pro bono project with the EPBC organization.
